Willowbrook is a gated community for individuals “55” and older who live independently and is comprised of 231 homes. It is located at the edge of Boise with views of the foothills. Our community has an almost equal number of married couples and single or widowed women and men.

Willowbrook is located in close proximity, even walking distance, to the U.S. Post Office, Garden City library, Walmart, Albertson’s, Fred Meyers, and many restaurants. Only a few blocks from Willowbrook, is the twenty-five mile Boise Greenbelt, a recreational path for walking, bike riding and bird watching.

The Willowbrook clubhouse is a hub of activity for the residents in the subdivision. We have an outdoor heated swimming pool that is used during the warmer months, a putting green, two tennis courts and horseshoe pit. In the clubhouse there are two full sized pool tables, exercise equipment, a large screen TV, and a lending library.

Regular weekly activities for residents include Pinochle, Bridge, Mah Jong, Friday movie nights. Every Saturday morning, residents gather at the clubhouse for coffee. Pot Luck and holiday dinners are scheduled most every month. The Willowbrook Women’s Club has a wide range of activities, including an annual tea and holiday party. Fun bus trips to Jackpot, Baker City, and other recreational areas are arranged for those residents who are interested. And the best part is the unbelievable low association dues. Everyone has their own key to the clubhouse and can watch television or socialize at anytime. One Willowbrook resident calls our place, “a Mr. Rogers neighborhood for adults”.
